Teen Stabbed in Machete and Sword Brawl on Forest Gate Street
A 17-year-old boy has been rushed to hospital after a brutal fight broke out involving machetes and swords on Chestnut Avenue, Forest Gate. The violent clash triggered a massive emergency response, including armed police, this Tuesday afternoon.
Chaos Erupts on Woodford Road
The Metropolitan Police were called at 4.41pm on March 18 after reports of multiple men fighting with deadly weapons near Woodford Road, E7. Witnesses described frantic scenes as terrified onlookers fled while the brawl unfolded in the street.
Injured Teen Seeks Shelter and Treatment
After being stabbed, the teenager ran to a nearby youth centre for safety. Paramedics treated his wounds on-site before rushing him to hospital. Police say his condition is currently unknown and assessments are ongoing.
A large crime scene remains cordoned off as specialist units, including forensic officers and blood-sniffing dogs, comb the area for clues.
“Officers responded to reports of an altercation in Woodford Road, E7 at 16:41hrs on Tuesday, 18 March. A 17-year-old boy was treated at the scene for a stab wound. He was later taken to hospital where he remains. The extent of his injuries are yet to be confirmed. A crime scene is in place and no arrests have been made at this early stage,” said a Met Police spokesperson.
