Teen Stabbed to Death in Bromley Park

Detectives have named the teenager tragically stabbed to death in Bromley as 19-year-old Max Moy Wheatley from Orpington. The horrific attack happened on Wednesday, 20 September, at Jubilee Country Park near Tent Peg Lane, Petts Wood.

Emergency Teams Rush to Scene But Too Late

Police and Kent Air Ambulance were called at 14:30 after a stabbing was reported by London Ambulance Service. Despite desperate efforts, Max died at the scene from a stab wound to the heart, a post-mortem confirmed on Friday, 22 September.

Police Plead for Witnesses and Footage

Detectives from the Specialist Crime Command are leading the investigation. Detective Chief Inspector Laura Semple offered her condolences: “Our thoughts remain with Max’s family and friends as they struggle to come to terms with such a violent loss.”

Officers are combing CCTV in the area to piece together what happened and are urgently calling on anyone who saw or heard anything to come forward.
