Tragic Death of Slawomir Turek Rocks Community
Slawomir Robert Turek, 43, was found dead at his home in Mansel Road West on the morning of Wednesday, 30 March. His sudden death has shocked family and friends alike.
Family Pays Heartfelt Tribute
Slawomir’s family in Poland has shared a touching tribute, accompanied by a photo of the father-of-one. The original Polish message and its English translation reveal the depth of their grief:

“Slawomir, known as Slawek, was a loving son, brother and, above all, father. He was a proud Polish man who took care of the needs and problems of the people he loved more than his own. Farewell from your family and friends. You will always be in our hearts and memories. Rest in peace Slawek.”
Police Investigation Underway
Enquiries into Slawomir’s death are ongoing. A 49-year-old woman was arrested in connection with the case but has since been released under investigation while police continue their probes.
