Man Arrested on Murder Suspicion as Police Make Four More Arrests
A 21-year-old man was arrested in the early hours on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody. Authorities have also detained four more suspects linked to the investigation.
Police Reassure Community Amid Shocking Incident
Detective Superintendent Wayne Fox addressed the public, saying, “Understandably this incident is shocking for members of the local community, but I would like to stress that we are currently treating this as an isolated incident.”
He added that police patrols will be stepped up in the area over the coming days to reassure residents. “Please feel free to speak to officers if you have any concerns,” he urged.
