Horror in Islip: Girl Found Dead, Homicide Probe Underway
Thames Valley Police have launched a full-scale homicide investigation after a young girl was found dead at a home on Middle Street, Islip, today, Tuesday 21st October 2025.

The girl’s next of kin have been informed and are receiving specialist support. Officers have sealed off the area with a police cordon, maintaining a strong presence as the probe kicks off.
Top Detective Speaks Out
“Firstly, I would like to share our condolences with the family of the girl who very sadly has died today,” said Detective Chief Inspector Sally Spencer.
“We have launched a homicide investigation, but we are still in the early stages and will provide more details as soon as we are able to.
“We understand this investigation will be concerning for the community, but we believe this incident to be contained and are not aware of any threat to the wider public at this time.”
