Teen Dies in Schoolyard Stabbing
A 15-year-old boy has been charged with murder following the fatal stabbing of fellow pupil Harvey Willgoose, 15, at All Saints Catholic High School in Sheffield. The horrific attack took place on Monday, February 3, 2025.
Harvey suffered serious injuries during the assault on school grounds. Emergency services rushed to the scene, but despite their efforts, Harvey tragically died shortly after their arrival.
Police Confirm Charges
South Yorkshire Police have charged the accused with murder, possession of a bladed article, and affray. The 15-year-old is due to appear in court in the coming days as the investigation unfolds.
“We have authorised South Yorkshire Police to charge a 15-year-old with murder in relation to the death of Harvey Willgoose at All Saints Catholic High School on 3 February. He has also been charged with possession of a bladed article and one count of affray,” said Chris Hartley, Deputy Chief Crown Prosecutor for Yorkshire and Humberside.

Harvey’s family and the Sheffield community are reeling from the loss. In a heartbreaking social media tribute, Harvey’s sister Sophie Willgoose said:
“My heart is broken into a million pieces.”
