Beast Parrie Jacob Jailed for Rape in Festival Porta-Loos
Parrie Jacob, 24, descended on his victim in a portable toilet at a summer event in Mersham back in July 2019. The vile attack ended with him behind bars for seven and a half years.
How the Horror Unfolded
On Saturday 27 July 2019, Jacob bumped into the victim during the event. When he tried to kiss her, she pushed him away and moved off. But he wasn’t done. Later, when she was near the portable toilets searching for someone, Jacob shoved her inside one cubicle and raped her.
The assault was interrupted when another person tried to enter the toilet, scaring Jacob off. He was booted out of the event later after a separate row.
Swift Justice Served
The victim reported the ordeal to a security guard straight away, and Kent Police were on the case. Jacob was arrested nearby within an hour.
“This was a terrifying experience for the victim and I would like to praise her bravery in supporting this prosecution,” said Detective Sergeant Richard Lown of Kent Police’s Rape Investigation Team.
“Jacob committed this offence against a stranger and, by refusing to admit his crime, worsened the ordeal for his victim by forcing her to give evidence at a trial. I’m pleased the jury saw through his lies and he’s now starting a significant jail term.”
