Cheshire Cop Nabbed for Data Leak
Natalie Mottram, 22, a Cheshire Police officer on secondment as an intelligence analyst at the North West Regional Organised Crime Unit, was slammed with charges after a probe by the Independent Office for Police Conduct. The National Crime Agency arrested her over claims she unlawfully disclosed sensitive information.
Serious Charges Laid
- Mottram faces four counts of unauthorised access to computer material.
- She also stands accused of perverting the course of justice.
Two More Charged in the Scandal
Jonathan Kay, 36, charged with perverting the course of justice and flouting two notices under the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000. Meanwhile, Leah Bennett, 36, also faces a charge of perverting the course of justice.
Investigation Boss Vows Zero Tolerance
