Bluewater Apple Store Robbery Ends with Jail Sentence
On 25 November 2023, Muraad Musse and an accomplice struck at the busy Bluewater Apple Store. While the associate distracted staff, Musse shoved an employee to the floor and snatched a mobile phone in broad daylight.
Swift Police Action
Both offenders made a run for it but didn’t get far. Police tracked them down to Musse’s home, leading to their arrest and recovery of the stolen phone.
Robbery Charge and Court Case
Musse, aged 24, from Tilson Gardens, Clapham, Greater London, faced robbery charges soon after. The case landed at Maidstone Crown Court on 9 May 2024.
He pleaded guilty and was handed a sentence of one year and nine months in prison. This also included activating a suspended sentence from a prior offence.
“123 was the only possible conclusion,” court reports stated.
Justice served fast for the Apple Store robbery at Bluewater, sending a clear message to mobile phone thieves.
