Man Found Dead on Kent Farm After Late Night Assault
Kent Police rushed to a farm off Nickle Lane, Chartham, at 8.40pm on Sunday 5 May 2024 after reports of a man being attacked.
51-Year-Old Pronounced Dead at the Scene
Emergency crews from South East Coast Ambulance Service also attended. Sadly, the victim, a 51-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two Known Men Arrested and Charged
Detectives from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate quickly arrested two men known to the victim.
- Robert Onicala, 20, of Ashford Road, Chartham, has been charged with murder and affray.
- Alexandru Onicala, 27, also from Ashford Road, has been charged with assault causing actual bodily harm and affray.
Accused Men Set to Appear in Court
Both Robert and Alexandru Onicala are due to appear before Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 8 May.
