Teen Brutally Attacked on Margate Seafront – Police Hunt Witnesses

Violence erupted on Margate seafront on Tuesday evening, July 19, 2022. A 16-year-old boy was violently punched and kicked by a gang opposite Hall By The Sea Road at around 5:10pm.

The victim was knocked to the ground before suffering multiple kicks from at least five attackers. Police rushed to the scene and took him to hospital with head injuries. Thankfully, he has now been released.

48-Hour Dispersal Order Imposed to Keep Peace

To stop any further trouble, authorities slapped a 48-hour dispersal order on Margate’s seafront. The move gives officers extra powers to eject troublemakers and arrest those who refuse to leave.

Margate CID is appealing for anyone who saw the assault or caught it on mobile phone to come forward. Your information could be crucial to cracking the case.
