Teen Charged with Murder of Anthony Adekola in Colindale
A teenager has been charged with the murder of 22-year-old Anthony Adekola in Colindale.
The suspect was arrested on Tuesday, 6 October, and charged the next day. He is set to appear in custody at Bromley Youth Court today.
Stabbing Shocks NW2 Neighbourhood
The murder followed a stabbing incident reported to police by the London Ambulance Service at 11.05pm on Saturday, 5 September. Officers found Anthony suffering fatal stab wounds in Martlesham Walk, near Debden Close, NW2. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
More Arrests Follow as Investigation Deepens
Metropolitan Police homicide detectives continue their probe. So far, three other males have also been charged with Anthony’s murder:
- Christian Medina, 19, of New Brent Street, NW4
- A 16-year-old from Hendon
- Tajuan Subaran, 18, of New Brent Street, NW4
They appeared at Hendon Magistrates’ Court on 14 September, then at the Old Bailey on 16 September. All were remanded in custody, with a return hearing scheduled for 4 December.
Youth Crackdown Continues
In addition, six more males aged 15 to 19 have been arrested and bailed pending further inquiries as police push to bring all involved to justice.
