British Student Nurse Stabbed to Death in Houston Flat
A young British student nurse has been tragically killed in her Houston home. Elizabeth Tamilore Odunsi, 23, originally from London, was found dead with multiple stab wounds on the kitchen floor of her apartment on Friday, 2 May.
Police Forced Entry After Welfare Check
Police arrived at the property for a welfare check but got no response. Noticing blood stains on a rear concrete patio, officers broke in. Inside, they discovered Elizabeth fatally injured and pronounced her dead at the scene.
Roommate Charged with Murder
Also found in the apartment was Elizabeth’s 40-year-old roommate, Chester Lamar Grant, suffering from stab wounds. He was rushed to hospital in critical condition.
After treatment, Grant was arrested and charged with Elizabeth’s murder. He is now held at Harris County Jail with bail set at $500,000 (£375,000).
Investigation Ongoing
Authorities have not revealed a motive. The investigation is ongoing, and police are urging anyone with information to come forward immediately.
