Courts Shut Over Easter – But Some Magistrates Are Open

The courts and tribunals in the UK will shut down for Easter from Friday 7 April to Monday 10 April 2023. They will reopen on Tuesday 11 April.

Don’t panic just yet – a handful of magistrates’ courts will stay open on Saturday 8 and Monday 10 April, but only for remand hearings. Make sure you check ahead before heading out.
