A 15-year-old teen was rushed to hospital after a stabbing at a Croydon bus stand, leaving the area cordoned off as police launch an investigation.
Teen Stabbed at Croydon Bus Stand
Police were called to The Colonnades bus stop in Croydon at around 5:40pm on Monday, 8 May following reports of an assault.
Crime Scene Sealed Off
Officers found the teenage boy with a stab wound. Paramedics treated him on the scene before he was taken to Croydon University Hospital. Thankfully, his injury is not life-threatening.
Police Hunt Suspects
The Colonnade bus stand was closed off as a crime scene. So far, police have made no arrests but investigations remain ongoing.
A Met Police spokesman said: “Officers attended and found a male, believed to be aged 15 years old, suffering from a stab injury. He was taken to a South London hospital for treatment; his injury is not believed to be life-threatening. There have been no arrests and enquiries continue.”
