Speed Demon Jailed After Heart-Stopping Cardiff Chase
Sakawat Hussain, 30, from Newport, has landed behind bars after a wild high-speed chase through the streets of Splott, Cardiff.
Dangerous Driving Nightmare Through Residential Streets
PC Bruford slammed Hussain’s reckless antics: “This was a highly dangerous pursuit. Hussain tore through multiple red lights, sped the wrong way down a one-way street, and blasted at over 60mph before crashing into a wall.”
He added, “Driving like this through a residential area could have ended in tragedy. Thankfully, no one else was hurt during this madness.”
Jail Time and Driving Ban for Cardiff Speedster
At Cardiff Crown Court on December 7, Hussain pleaded guilty to dangerous driving, drink driving, and driving without insurance.
The judge handed him a 10-month prison sentence and slapped a three year and five months driving ban on him. After the ban, Hussain must pass an extended driving test before hitting the road again.
