Mercedes Wheel Flies Off After Crashing Into Central Reservation
The nightmare unfolded around 3.30pm on 16 February 2025. Makhluf lost control of his Mercedes, slamming into the central reservation and ripping a wheel clean off down to the rim. But instead of stopping, he recklessly carried on driving for miles with a blown-out tyre—putting lives at serious risk.
Nearly Two Years in Jail and Four-Year Driving Ban
Miraculously, no one was injured in the smash. Police arrested Makhluf the same day, and six months later he faced court. On 6 March 2026, Aylesbury Crown Court sentenced him to 22 months in prison. He also received a driving ban of nearly five years for this and other offences.
