Thieves Smash Into Van, Flee After Hitting Man
A man in his 50s had a nasty shock on Wednesday 14 October. Returning to his van, he caught two men trying to nick his tools. The crooks made a run for it in a Silver Vauxhall Astra but knocked the man down in the process.
They ditched the Astra and sped off in a nearby Blue Volkswagen Estate instead.
Victim Hospitalised with Back Injury
The injured man was rushed to hospital with a back injury. Police described the suspects as follows:
- First man: Tall, large build, in his 40s.
- Second man: Late teens to early 20s.
