Convicted sex offender Curtis Arnold, infamous for his gruesome coverage of Nicola Bulley’s tragic 2020 death, is now cashing in big with his revamped DJE Media. George Odling lifts the lid on Arnold’s booming online empire — and reveals his chilling response when caught out.

Toxic ‘Journalism’ Rakes in Thousands

Arnold’s DJE Media churns out hundreds of shocking videos across social platforms, preying on vulnerable people caught in distressing moments.

  • One viral clip shows a traumatised family outside TK Maxx in southampton/" title="Southampton" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Southampton after a young mother was attacked. Despite desperate pleas to stop filming, Arnold shoved his camera right into the victim’s face.
  • Another video, watched over 330,000 times on YouTube, stalks a woman who appears to be a mentally ill drug addict, repeatedly filming her despite her begging to be left alone.
  • He targets homeless individuals, migrants, and drug users, often provoking confrontations under the pretence of “public interest.”

The videos rack up millions of views. Ads running alongside these disturbing clips bring in between £3,500 and £7,500 a month. On top of this, affiliate links to camera gear add extra dosh. Arnold even charges £4.99 a month for exclusive “Gold” content.

Sex Offender Behind the Camera

Curtis Arnold, 36, a former hairdresser from Kidderminster now holed up in a Milton Keynes flat, tries to hide behind fake names but can’t outrun his criminal record:

  • In 2019, Arnold was jailed for 12 counts including fraud, voyeurism, coercing sexual activity, and creating indecent images of an underage victim.
  • He pretended to be a fitness model agent to lure women into taking sexualised photos, then sold the images without consent.
  • He got 34 months behind bars and is on the sex offenders’ register for ten years.

His most notorious stunt? Sneaking past police lines to film officers retrieving Nicola Bulley’s body from a river — footage that shocked the nation and pulled in nearly a million views.

Profiting from Pain and Exploitation

Arnold now boasts 250,000 YouTube subscribers, 388,000 Facebook followers, and a huge TikTok audience feeding on his exploitation of society’s most vulnerable.

“These aren’t characters or content – they are human beings facing trauma, addiction, and homelessness,” said Hendrix Lancaster of Coffee4Craig charity. “Arnold’s so-called journalism exploits sufferers for financial gain, stripping them of dignity and risking their safety.”

Recent videos show Arnold antagonising vulnerable people in Manchester, filming confrontations without consent, sparking outrage among witnesses.

Dodging Justice, Defying Scrutiny

Despite several arrests, Arnold escaped prosecution over his sickening Bulley coverage. Pressed about his convictions, he denied them but offered no proof. Partnered now with controversial bodyguard ‘Cultured Thug’ Fred Willis, Arnold’s brazen antics continue unabated.

Experts warn that YouTube’s leniency towards such “educational” yet toxic content lets villains like Arnold thrive unchecked.

Thames Valley Police are currently probing whether Arnold broke his sexual harm prevention order by filming minors. TikTok recently axed his account, but his disturbing media empire marches on.

Arnold was contacted for comment but declined to respond.
