Firearm Found After Police Stop Car on A28 in Sarre
Armed Motorist Busted on A28
Kent Police made a major weapon seizure after pulling over a car on the A28 in Sarre just before midnight on Wednesday, 1 May 2019. Officers on routine patrol stopped and searched the vehicle, uncovering a firearm inside.
Two Men Arrested and Charged
Robin Ling, 24, from Beach Road, Westgate-on-Sea, and Charlie Anderson, 24, from East Street, were arrested at the scene. Both face serious charges including possession of a firearm and ammunition, plus conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm.
Next Court Date Set
The duo have been remanded in custody and are due to appear at Canterbury Crown Court on Monday, 3 June 2019.
