Man Found Dead After Brentford Break-In – Police Launch Murder Probe

Early Morning Horror in Brentford

Detectives are hunting for answers after a man was found dead in Brentford following reports of intruders at a home.

Emergency services were called to Brentwick Gardens at 5:15am on Wednesday, 26 April. Officers, paramedics, and London’s Air Ambulance rushed to the scene.

Tragic Death of Darren Augustine

On arrival, officers discovered a man in his mid-40s lying injured on the street. Despite desperate efforts, he was declared dead at the scene.

The victim has been identified as 44-year-old Darren Augustine from Ealing.

Police Hunting for Clues

West Area Commander Chief Superintendent Sean Wilson said:

“This was a dreadful crime and people will be looking for answers and wanting to know what we are doing to keep our community safe. “Homicide detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command are investigating and we are fully supporting their work. Eleven people have been arrested on suspicion of murder, and enquiries are ongoing to bring those responsible to justice. “I will do all I can to keep you and our partners informed as the enquiry continues. “Local officers are there to reassure you and make you feel safe. Please do speak to them; we will listen and work hard to address your concerns.”
