Fourth Suspect Charged Over Brutal Deptford Stabbing
New Murder Charge
Jackson Uwagboe, 18, from Hamilton Street, Lewisham, has been charged with the murder of 21-year-old Robert Robinson. He also faces charges for possession of a machete, often called a zombie knife.
Robert was fatally stabbed on Carteret Way late on June 6, 2024. Emergency services rushed to the scene, but despite their efforts, he sadly died there.
Three Others Already Behind Bars
Uwagboe joins three other suspects charged with murder in the case:
- Kirk Harris, 18, of Upper Brockley Road, New Cross
- Ryan Wedderburn, 18, of Windless Place, Deptford
- Dalziell Wedderburn, 44, of Windless Place, Deptford
Another Arrest For Cover-Up
A fifth person, Ryan Davis, 18, from Northover, Grove Park, has been charged with perverting the course of justice. He allegedly organised transport to help Wedderburn and Harris flee the murder scene.
Investigation Ongoing – Police Seek Witnesses
The Metropolitan Police continue to probe Robert Robinson’s killing. They urge anyone with information to call 101, quoting reference CRIS 123456/24, or to report anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
