Hackney Man Busted for Rape of Teen Girl in Hoxton
A 32-year-old from Hackney has been charged with raping a 16-year-old girl in East London. Ridge Mensah, from Windsor Terrace, appeared at Thames Magistrates’ Court on March 2 and was instantly remanded in custody.
Attack Reported in Early Hours of February 28
The horrific alleged assault was reported to the Met Police shortly after midnight on February 28. Mensah now faces serious rape charges and is set to appear at Wood Green Crown Court on March 24.
Police Speak Out on Case
“A man has been charged with the rape of a 16-year-old in Hoxton. Ridge Mensah (22.07.93) of Windsor Terrace, Hackney, appeared at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 2 March where he was remanded in custody. He will next appear at Wood Green Crown Court on Tuesday, 24 March.”
