56-Year-Old Actor Busted Near Upper Holloway
Last Sunday, April 23, a 56-year-old man was arrested near Upper Holloway in Islington. The Metropolitan Police swooped on an address by Elthorne Road, N19, suspecting him of engaging in sexual communication with a child.
Released on Bail, Investigation Rumbles On
The man, who has starred on the hit soap EastEnders, was taken into custody but later bailed. Police confirmed he remains on bail until late June while inquiries continue. “The investigation into the circumstances is still ongoing,” said a Met spokeswoman.

Sexual communication with a child carries up to two years in prison and automatically lands the accused on the Sex Offenders Register. The offence falls under Section 15A of the Sexual Offences Act 2003.
