Armed Police Race to Derby Road After Man Shot in Neck

Armed officers and Met Police response teams scrambled to Derby Road, Enfield, this afternoon after a man was shot in the neck. The incident, which unfolded around 3pm on Saturday, has sparked a large police cordon and a full investigation.

Man Critical After Shooting Near Derby Road

Police were alerted at 2.33pm when hospital staff admitted a man in his 20s with a gunshot wound to a north London hospital. The victim is now in critical condition receiving emergency treatment.

It’s believed the shooting happened close to Derby Road, N21. No arrests have been made so far as officers continue to probe the circumstances.
