Totton Teen Charged with Father-to-Be Murder
Detectives in Totton have charged 19-year-old Charlie George Thomas Cooper with murder following the death of a 26-year-old man.
Fatal Assault Shocks Local Community
Police were called to a serious assault on Salisbury Road at around 7:45pm on Saturday, 25 August. The victim was rushed to hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
Suspects in Custody and Under Investigation
Cooper, of Ashby Road, has been charged with murder and is set to appear before Southampton Magistrates today.
A 26-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder suffered a medical episode after arrest and remains in hospital.
Additionally, a 42-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy were arrested on suspicion of helping an offender. Both have been released but remain under police investigation.
