Police have identified the London Bridge terror suspect as 28-year-old Usman Khan. Khan was a key player in a shocking 2012 plot to bomb iconic London landmarks, including Big Ben. The convicted terror gang had planned a Mumbai-style Christmas atrocity targeting the Stock Exchange, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, the Palace of Westminster, and the London Eye.

In a jaw-dropping move, Khan and his co-conspirators walked free in under six years thanks to a last-minute plea bargain. Khan was freed on licence in December 2018 and was still under police radar when he launched the London Bridge attack.
