Forest Gate Man Stabbed to Death in Early Morning Brawl
Detectives have named the man fatally stabbed in Forest Gate as 33-year-old Ismaila Ceesay. Officers were called after reports of a fight on Warwick Road, E15, in the early hours of Tuesday, 28 May.
Ismaila was rushed to hospital but tragically died. A post-mortem on Thursday, 30 May revealed he died from a stab wound to the abdomen.
Three Arrested and Bailed Over Stabbing
- A 46-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder on 28 May but has since been released on bail until mid-June.
- A 20-year-old woman arrested on 29 May is also on bail, with a court date set for late June.
- A 24-year-old man arrested on 1 June has been bailed to appear in court later in June as well.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
Detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command continue to probe the stabbing. They want anyone with information to get in touch immediately.
