Man stabbed in the leg in Folkestone following disturbance

An Investigation has been launched after man injured in Folkestone A disturbance is reported to have taken place inside a property in Watkin Road at around 10pm on Tuesday 14 May 2019. The disturbance continued out on the street where the victim, in his 20s, suffered an injury to his leg, consistent with a stab wound. Kent Police officers were called to the scene along with the South East Coast Ambulance Service and the man was taken to hospital for treatment. Witnesses described four suspects who had all left the area before police arrived. Enquiries remain ongoing to identify the people responsible and officers are carrying out house-to-house enquiries and reviewing CCTV. The suspects are described as black men, aged between late teens and 20 years old. They were seen wearing dark clothing with hooded tops. Detectives would like to hear from any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage from Watkin Road or neighbouring streets between 9.30pm and 10.30pm on Tuesday 14 May, or information that could assist with their investigation.
