Armed officers stormed the top end of Margate High Street this afternoon following a brutal knife attack that left one man seriously injured.
Victim Slashed in Broad Daylight
Kent Police were called to the scene around 2:15pm after a man was slashed across the arm. Emergency crews rushed to help, describing the wound as serious but thankfully not life-threatening.
Suspect Arrested as Streets Locked Down
A 32-year-old local man was quickly arrested and taken into custody. Armed officers surrounded a nearby property amid the police response. Several streets were briefly sealed off while the situation was controlled, causing disruption for stunned shoppers and residents.
