Shocking Child Abuse Horror Rocks Lancashire
A mum has been jailed for over four years after carrying out horrifying abuse on a young boy in her care. Siann Cawley, 27, from Fleetwood, subjected the boy—who was not her own child—to horrific treatment. She repeatedly burned him with a cigarette and forced him to eat dog food during a terrifying three-week ordeal.
And that’s not all. Cawley also locked the boy alone in a room for hours while she went out, leaving him utterly neglected and abandoned.
Heartless Mum Sentenced to Four Years
Facing justice at Preston Crown Court, Cawley admitted to assault, ill-treatment, neglect, and abandonment. She was slammed with a four-year and three-month prison sentence and is now serving time at HMP Styal in Cheshire.
Another Dark Tale of Child Abuse Emerges
This grim case echoes other recent horrors. In 2018, Dakota Bruce was convicted for burning a boy’s feet with a lighter and repeatedly battering him — despite prior convictions for abusing the same child.
The young victim endured burns, bruises, and even a brain bleed. When questioned, he bravely revealed the relentless cycle of violence inflicted upon him.
