Vile Attacker Jailed for Assaulting Cop and Targeting Child

A thug has been locked up for 24 weeks after a shocking spree of assaults, including spat attacks and flicking a lit cigarette into a toddler’s face.

Spitting in Cop’s Eye Lands Man Behind Bars

Newham Police revealed the violent spree began on October 31st in Stratford town centre. Officers on patrol were flagged down by a witness who spotted Stefan Modiga, 26, committing an assault. When cops approached to question him, Modiga spat directly into the eye and mouth of one officer. He was quickly arrested for assaulting an emergency worker.

More Sickening Offences Surface From Earlier This Year

  • Spitting into someone else’s face in June.
  • Flicking a lit cigarette into a four-year-old child’s face in a separate incident in June.

Judge Sends Modiga Straight to Jail

Appearing in court on November 1st, Modiga was found guilty of all charges and sentenced to 24 weeks behind bars. The sentence sends a clear message: attacks on police and innocent people won’t be tolerated.

Police Respond to Repulsive Acts

“Stefan Modiga’s actions were appalling. Assaulting an officer trying to protect the public is disgusting,” said a Newham Police spokesperson. “Spitting in the eye and mouth exposes victims to serious health risks. Targeting a young child only shows how dangerous his behaviour is. We hope this sentence makes clear we won’t tolerate such conduct and will keep pursuing justice.”

Community Outraged, Praise Police Action

Local residents have voiced their horror at Modiga’s attacks, especially the child abuse incident, and applauded police for swift justice. The case stands as a stern warning that violence against emergency workers and the public will lead to hard time.
