Tragic Crash in Wateringbury Road Claims Man’s Life
At around 7.45am on Friday 27 October 2023, a silver Vauxhall Astra and a grey Land Rover collided on Wateringbury Road, sparking a serious crash.
Passenger Dies at Scene, Another Seriously Injured
Emergency services rushed to the scene, including Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service. Sadly, a man in his 30s, travelling as a passenger in the Vauxhall, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, a passenger in the Land Rover suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital. The Land Rover driver was not present when officers arrived.
Man Arrested Over Dangerous Driving Death
A 32-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He has since been released on bail pending further inquiries.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
