A man in his 70s was rushed to hospital with a head injury after a brutal street brawl involving three men on Blackstock Road, Finsbury Park. Police were called at 6:22pm on Tuesday following reports of the violent scuffle.

Elderly Bystander Hurt in Finsbury Park Fight

Although not directly involved, the elderly man suffered a minor head injury during the chaos. Medics treated him at the hospital, and he is expected to make a full recovery.

Two Men Arrested Over Finsbury Park Affray

Officers arrested two men, aged 25 and 28, at the scene on suspicion of affray. Both have since been released on bail pending further police inquiries.

Police Seek Witnesses and Footage

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said:

“An investigation is ongoing. Anyone who witnessed the incident, or has any information or footage, is asked to contact police by calling 101 or posting on X @MetCC quoting CAD 6460/25MAR.”

The street remained crowded with onlookers during the incident, and detectives are urging anyone with video or dashcam footage to come forward.
