Sonny Stringer, 28, from Islington, faces nine theft charges, one for robbery, plus dangerous driving and driving without insurance. He’s currently remanded in custody ahead of his Isleworth Crown Court hearing on April 22.

Investigators uncovered CCTV footage showing two men on electric motorbikes linked to the phone-snatching rampage. Quick work by CCTV operators spotted the suspects and swiftly alerted officers, resulting in Stringer’s arrest.
