Man Charged With Murder After Fatal Enfield Stabbing
A man has been charged with murder following a deadly stabbing in Enfield in the early hours of Sunday, 13 September. Police and London Ambulance Service rushed to Holbrook Close, EN1, at around 12.40am after reports of a man found collapsed.
Victim Named as 26-Year-Old Nahid Ahmed
Despite desperate attempts by emergency crews, 26-year-old Nahid Ahmed from Enfield was pronounced dead at the scene. His family have been informed.
Suspect Remanded Ahead of Central Criminal Court Hearing
A 43-year-old man arrested near the scene was charged with murder. He made a brief appearance at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 15 September, and is due in front of the Central Criminal Court on 17 September.
Detective Chief Inspector Katherine Goodwin, leading the investigation, confirmed enquiries are ongoing into the shocking incident.

Notably, around 20 minutes before the stabbing, police received a call from the 43-year-old suspect reporting an assault. The Met’s Directorate of Professional Standards has been notified as part of the inquiry.
