Fulham Murder Shock: 20-Year-Old Omid Saidy Fatally Stabbed After Drug Deal Confrontation

Detectives have named the young victim who was stabbed to death last Monday evening in Fulham as Omid Saidy, aged 20. Now, police are urgently calling for witnesses and anyone with footage of the brutal attack to step forward.

Triple Stabbing Near Parsons Green Tube

Police were scrambled at 7.37pm on 16 October after reports of three men stabbed around Parsons Green Tube Station. Officers arrived alongside London Ambulance Service to find the victims scattered across the area with serious injuries.

Tragically, Omid Saidy was pronounced dead at Parsons Green Lane at 8.30pm. His family have been informed and identification confirmed.

Suspects Flee Scene on Foot

Detectives say Omid confronted a drug dealer and an accomplice, chasing them towards Beaconsfield Walk. During the pursuit, Omid caught up and was fatally stabbed.

A friend who came to Omid’s aid was also stabbed. He had arrived on a moped which later crashed into a parked car, although police confirm this was not a moped-enabled crime.

The suspects fled on foot: one described as a black male in dark clothes ran down Harbled Road, and the other a white male youth headed into Beaconsfield Walk.

Investigation in Full Swing

The injured men, aged 20 and 16, were rushed to hospital. The 20-year-old remains seriously injured but stable. The 16-year-old was discharged and arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder. He is currently held at a west London police station.

Detective Chief Inspector Noel McHugh said: “A young man has tragically lost his life for simply asking a drug dealer to move on. We need anyone who witnessed the stabbing or the suspects fleeing Parsons Green between 7pm and 8pm to come forward now. We are especially keen to identify the black male suspect and appeal for any mobile footage of the incident.”
