A disgusting paedophile who groomed and abused young girls online has been locked up for 19 years. Inam Khan, 37, from Northamptonshire, lied about his age to trick victims before abducting and sexually assaulting them across Sussex and Suffolk.

Sick Abuse in Suffolk

On 19 September 2022, Khan travelled hundreds of miles to meet a 14-year-old girl he had groomed on chat rooms and Snapchat. He raped her and faces charges of attempted rape too. Police arrested him weeks later, charging him with two counts of rape and one attempted rape.

Twisted Crimes in Sussex

Khan also targeted a 12-year-old, pretending to be just 16. He pressured her for explicit photos, then turned up at her home on 8 September 2024, abducting and sexually assaulting her. Shockingly, he came back six days later trying to meet her again. Throughout these horrific crimes, Khan covered nearly 600 miles.

Jail for This Monster

Khan was arrested on 25 November 2024 and charged with child abduction, sexual assault of a child under 13, and grooming. His trial began on 23 June 2025 at Hove Crown Court, lasting nine days. By 3 July, the jury found him guilty on all counts.

Today, 22 December 2025, Khan was sentenced to 19 years behind bars plus three years on licence.
