South London Dealers Jailed for County Lines Drug Supply in Basingstoke
Two South London drug dealers have been locked up for running a notorious county lines drug operation supplying Basingstoke, Hampshire.
Musicians Turned Dealers Face Heavy Jail Time
Cassiel Wuta-Ofei, 27, from Priory Crescent, SE19, and Malki Martin, 24, of Fortrose Gardens, SW2, were handed a combined nine years behind bars. Both men were involved in pushing heroin and crack cocaine through multiple county lines.
Martin Admits Guilt Across Three Counties
Martin pleaded guilty in April at Inner London Crown Court to conspiracy to supply heroin and crack cocaine between February and August 2018 in Basingstoke. He also admitted involvement in running county lines in Newbury, Berkshire, later that year and Farnborough, Hampshire, in 2019. He was sentenced to four and a half years.
Wuta-Ofei Found Guilty and Sentenced
Wuta-Ofei was found guilty on 21 October for conspiracy to supply heroin and crack cocaine during early 2018. He received a four and a half year jail term.
Strict Criminal Behaviour Orders Imposed
Both men face eight-year Criminal Behaviour Orders banning them from possessing unregistered SIM cards, curbing their ability to run covert drug lines again.
