Clive Fullick Nabbed Red-Handed at Hastings Co-op

Clive Fullick, 57, from Stonehouse Drive, St Leonards, appeared at Hastings Magistrates’ Court on October 20. He pleaded guilty to 20 counts of shoplifting, all at the Co-op on Bohemia Road, Hastings.

Three-Year Ban to Keep Fullick Off the Shelves

Sussex Police confirmed the court handed Fullick a three-year Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO). The move aims to stop him from causing further chaos and protect shop workers and the local community.

Strict Rules and £2,295 Compensation

Besides the CBO, Fullick must cough up £2,295 in compensation and join a rehabilitation programme for substance misuse.

  • He’s banned from entering any Sussex retail store if asked to leave by staff or security.
  • He must avoid shops that have formally banned him.
  • He must keep at least 30 metres away from the Hastings Co-op where the thefts took place.

Sussex Police stressed these tough conditions aim to protect local businesses and curb crime in Hastings.
