Manhunt Underway for Lucky Mahlalela After Court No-Show

The police are urgently hunting Lucky Mahlalela, 21, who was caught with a weapon and drugs at Brighton railway station but never turned up for sentencing.

Missed Court Date Raises Alarms

Mahlalela was due to be sentenced at Brighton Magistrates Court on July 25. He faced charges of possessing an offensive weapon and a class B drug linked to an incident on July 28, 2023.

Police Appeal for Info as Hunt Widens

The British Transport Police (BTP) have not been able to locate Mahlalela, who is known to have connections in Crawley. They are urging anyone who knows his whereabouts to come forward.

“Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Mahlalela is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 306 of 28/07/23. You can also call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
