Crawley Shoplifting Spree Ends with Arrest

Police cracked down hard on crime in Crawley on April 13th, swooping on Adrian Walker at Meridian Close. The 50-year-old was hauled in by the Tactical Enforcement Unit for a string of shoplifting offences.

22 Shoplifting Counts and Theft Revealed

Walker admitted to 22 shoplifting charges plus one theft from a property during his April 15th court appearance at Crawley Magistrates’ Court. The crime spree stretched from August 30, 2023, to April 9, 2024.

His main targets were local Co-op stores in Dorsten Square, Bewbush, where he swiped goods worth a whopping £1,463.23.

Tough Bail Conditions Imposed

Though Walker was released on unconditional bail, he faces strict controls under an interim Criminal 123 order, requested by the property owner to curb further crimes.
