Teen Charged with Murder After London Stabbing Tragedy

17-Year-Old Held Over Fatal Knife Attack

A 17-year-old boy was charged with murder at Lewisham police station on Wednesday, 10 July. He has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Bromley Magistrates Court on Thursday, 11 July.

Stabbing Shocks SE1 Neighbourhood

Police rushed to Tiverton Street, SE1, at around 9.30pm on Sunday, 5 May, following reports of a stabbing. Emergency services, including London’s Air Ambulance, found 18-year-old McCaulay Junior Urugbezi-Edwards seriously wounded.

Victim Dies from Stab Wound to Thigh

McCaulay was taken to a south London hospital but tragically died at 10:51pm that night. His next of kin have been informed. A post-mortem at Greenwich Mortuary confirmed the cause of death as a stab wound to the left thigh.
