Three Sentenced Over Massive Cannabis Farm Bust
Elton Allaraj, Virion Allaraj, and Kevin Bajrami were today sentenced at Shrewsbury Crown Court for growing a large cannabis crop.
Huge Haul of Cannabis Plants Found in Police Raids
On 19 November 2021, the Regional Organised Crime Unit swooped on two properties in Wolverhampton and Telford. Officers uncovered around 100 cannabis plants hidden inside.
Virion Allaraj was arrested at the Wolverhampton property, while Elton Allaraj and Kevin Bajrami were caught later that day in Telford.
Prison Terms Handed Down for Drug Production
- Elton Allaraj, 26, of Fieldfare Way, Telford: 24 months in jail
- Virion Allaraj, 24, of Bembridge, Telford: 20 months in jail
- Kevin Bajrami, also of Bembridge, Telford: 14 months in jail
All three pleaded guilty to producing a Class B drug.
Police Issue Warning to Drug Dealers
“This is another strong message that we will not tolerate anyone who tries to infect our communities with drugs,” said Detective Constable Shaun Biddulph.
“Our work to keep drugs out of society is always ongoing and this is the latest in a number of sentences that proves our commitment to tackling drug crime.”
