Three Men Have Been Jailed After Officers Seized Over 230 Mature Cannabis Plants From A Factory Set Up In Southampton

Triple Jail Hit for Cannabis Gang in Southampton

Three men have been locked up for 17 months each after cops busted a massive cannabis farm in Southampton. Endri Gjiza, 24, Ronaldo Rexha, 24 (both of no fixed address), and Allaman Zuna, 27, from Bellevue Terrace, appeared at Southampton Crown Court on 11 April. They were charged in February with producing a Class B controlled drug – cannabis.

230 Cannabis Plants Seized in Huge Police Raid

Officers swooped on a commercial premises on Radcliffe Road just after 2.30pm on 16 February. Inside, they found more than 230 cannabis plants growing under high-powered lights in various stages of maturity.

Dozens of bin bags bursting with cannabis were taken away, with a street value estimated between £66,000 and £200,000.

Police Warn: Cannabis Factories Bring Dangerous Crime & Fire Risk

PSI Jordan Clayton, Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary: “We want to stress that any production of drugs is linked to hidden harm – which is why tackling the issue is a top priority.

These operations are often run by organised crime gangs involved in serious violence and weapons offences, including firearms. Vulnerable people may be exploited or forced into servitude.

The electrical demand for growing drugs also poses a huge fire risk, endangering neighbouring properties and lives.

By shutting down this cannabis factory and jailing Gjiza, Rexha, and Zuna, we’ve disrupted a local drug network and made Southampton safer to live and work in.

Police Urge Locals to Report Cannabis Farms

PSI Clayton added: “I hope this sentence encourages people to come forward with info about any suspected cannabis cultivation or drug supply in their area. Every tip is logged and reviewed by our Neighbourhood Policing Teams.”

“This helps us get the bigger picture, take strong action, and keep communities safe.”
