Three Men Busted After Spate of Early Morning Medway Burglaries
Three men have been charged following a series of burglaries in Medway in the early hours of Friday 30 July 2021.
Police Chase Ends in Arrest Near Sittingbourne
Kent Police were called at 3.40am after a break-in in Rainham. Officers from Tactical Operations tracked a suspicious vehicle, pursuing it along the A249 near Sittingbourne before stopping it and arresting three men.
Burglary Spree Linked by Crime Squad
Detectives from the Chief Constable’s Crime Squad launched an investigation and connected the Rainham break-in to two other nearby burglaries happening around the same time.

- Max Cuthbert, 18, maidstone/" title="Maidstone" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Maidstone Road, Gillingham
- Liam French, 20, Gillingham Road, Gillingham
- John Gould, 19, Hazlemere Drive, Gillingham
All three men face three counts of burglary and one count of aggravated vehicle taking.
Liam French is also charged with dangerous driving, failing to stop for police, and driving without insurance.
John Gould faces additional charges of cannabis possession and causing criminal damage to a custody cell.
All three were remanded in custody and are due to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 31 July.
