Two Men Nabbed in Major Reading Drug Bust
Thames Valley Police have cracked down hard on Class A drug supply in Reading, landing two men in court after a major raid.
Crack Cocaine and Heroin Snatched in Caroline Street Raid
On 2 September 2025, cops stormed a flat on Caroline Street and seized a stash of crack cocaine, heroin, drug paraphernalia, £515 cash, and mobile phones. One phone revealed texts openly advertising drug sales.
Tajal Campbell, 22, from Westwood Road, Reading, admitted possessing crack and heroin with intent to supply. Joshua Oliver, 28, homeless, also pled guilty to the same charges.
Sentences Dropped at Reading Crown Court
Campbell was slammed with a four-year jail term on 14 November 2025. Meanwhile, Oliver got off with a 20-month suspended sentence for two years on 20 February 2026.

PC Ross Hutcheson of Reading’s Proactive Team said: “Our team will continue proactively targeting and prosecuting those involved in drug supply, which has a devastating impact on our communities.
