Luton Duo Nabbed for Crack and Heroin Deal in Aylesbury
Mohammad Hussain, 42, from Brook Street, Luton, has been handed an 18-month community order and must complete 120 hours of unpaid work. He pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply Class A drugs – crack cocaine and heroin.
Accomplice Locked Up for Nearly Four Years
His partner in crime, Rizwan Adatlat, 34, of Cambridge Street, Luton, pleaded guilty to the same charges and was sentenced last December to three years and nine months behind bars.
Caught Red-Handed in Aylesbury
On 24 March 2021, officers from the Aylesbury Stronghold Team spotted Hussain and Adatlat deal drugs from a car in Hampden Gardens. They followed the pair to St Annes Road, where a search uncovered 74 wraps of crack cocaine and heroin worth around £500.
Both men were charged the very next day.
Police Deliver Warning to Drug Dealers
“I am pleased the courts have handed down fitting sentences to Adatlat and Hussain, who travelled from Luton to Aylesbury intending to deal Class A drugs,” said PC James Gordon of the Aylesbury Stronghold Team.
“Within 20 minutes of arriving, they were under arrest. This should send a clear warning to anyone thinking of dealing drugs in Aylesbury Vale. Our team will work tirelessly to catch and charge criminals.”
“If you have any information on drug supply in Aylesbury, call 101 or report it online.”
