A man has been found guilty of a horrific rape, assault, and robbery in Burnley. Victim endured a terrifying five-hour nightmare at the hands of 41-year-old Bo Yang.
Money Dispute Turns Violent
After arguing over money, Yang flashed a knife, dragged the woman to a bed, and slashed her clothes with the blade. He then savagely beat her with a metal bar he’d hidden in his bag before sexually assaulting and raping her.
Yang’s brutality escalated as he tied the woman up with rope and tape, even wrapping tape tightly around her head.
He slashed her with the knife again before robbing her of cash and bank cards from her purse.
Desperate Escape Ends Nightmarish Ordeal
The victim seized a chance to escape when Yang turned his back. She ran to nearby neighbours, who called police at 3.46am, finally ending her five-hour ordeal.
