Late-Night Crash on The King’s Drive Leaves Driver Fighting for Life
At around 12.48am on Sunday 21st February 2021, a silver 2013 BMW 3 Series saloon smashed into trouble on The King’s Drive, Torquay.
Driver in Critical Condition, Passenger Hurt
The BMW driver suffered life-threatening injuries in the single-vehicle crash. The front seat passenger walked away with minor injuries.
The injured driver was airlifted by helicopter to Derriford Hospital and is currently receiving emergency treatment.
Police Investigate Crash Scene, Call for Witnesses
Devon and Cornwall Police, including the Alliance Roads Policing Team, rushed to the scene. After a forensic probe, the road re-opened.
